Last Minutes of Sunrise was photographed between 2009 and 2014 on the Warling family dairy farm in northern Minnesota during the aftermath of the Great Recession. during the making of these pictures the price of feed had nearly tripled and the price of milk was slashed leaving many smaller farms to choose between selling to larger operations or closing all together. In 2014 this story was about a family farm in a transition period deciding where the future of their farm was headed — over a decade has passed since the first photo was taken and now this story is about tradition and rituals and it serves as a document of a family's legacy.
