Uncanny Valley is a collection of photographs from Grand Forks, ND. and the upper Red River Valley. The area in northern North Dakota is home to a population of largely German and Norwegian immigrants and near the Spirit Lake Reservation and Turtle Mountain Reservation. The collection of images seeks to visualize the unique culture and tradition of the area, and draw a connection from the community's complicated relationship to the geography of the Red River Valley.
